News and Needs

From Sue Brown: My dear friends, thank you for your kind words and support as I step down as church warden. Whilst your thanks is quite enough, several of you asked for details about my goddaughter, Ellice, who has Cerebral Palsy and needs an operation to help her walk which is not funded by the NHS.  If you google ‘Ellice’s wish to walk’ you will find her Just Giving profile with ways to make a donation if you wish. My whole family would be very grateful for your kindness.  If you prefer, you can make your donation
by placing it in an envelope marked ‘Sue’ and handing it to Felicity, Clare or Jeannie.

With love, Sue

From Pam Reed: Many thanks to all who have sent cards, flowers and (really naughty) sweets. The Family service and 8 o/c Service on 8 April were my final services. I didn’t expect anything, just to slip away quietly. Its been a real privilege to serve such lovely people for nearly 14 years through the good and the bad times, but all good things come to an end. Youwill always be welcome to call and have a cuppa any time. Thank you all. Love in the Lord.

Pam
