Shelford and Stapleford Men’s Fellowship

This is an informal gathering which meets monthly, normally at the Rose Pub at 8pm.  Earlier this year we combined with the men of St Mary’s, Great Shelford – so from now on we should call ourselves the Shelford and Stapleford Men’s Fellowship (SSMF).  We socialise for a while and then focus our thoughts on the subject for the evening, often contemporary problems, from a Christian perspective.  The meetings are open to all.  You do not have to be a member of, or regularly attend services at St. Andrews or St Mary’s.  Anyone attending will be made very welcome.

Upcoming Event

Thursday 10th March 2016  Fresh Expressions with the Rev Ed Olsworth-Peter.

When he was Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams talked about creating a mixed economy of Church life – so we now have Fresh Expressions and traditional Church.  Ed is now Diocesan Adviser for Fresh Expressions of Church and Young Adults, so it will be interesting to learn from him more about “Fresh Expressions” – what it means and how and where it operates.
