Our Tuesday evening Housegroup meets at 8pm. We are a group of men and women who meet together to study and look in to the Bible, the word of God. We pray for one another and also for any situations that arise locally or nationally. We would welcome any new members.
For more information contact Betty or Francess or email StAndrewsinfo@virginmedia.com
Also on Tuesday our Bible Study Group meets at 10 am. We are a small, friendly group of nine members, and take it in turns to lead, ( though this is by no means obligatory). Reference books are available if needed.
The Leader starts with the reading of the Collect, inviting Readers for the Old Testament, Epistle and Gospel; allowing about twenty minutes discussion for each.
We end with the Grace at 11am. Coffee, biscuits and chat follows; usually winding up at about 11.30.
Anyone wanting to join us will be most welcome.

Our Daytime women’s bible group meets every Friday morning 9.30 -11.30am. Pre school children are welcome. We meet in each others homes and use a variety of material from Bible study guides, books on contemplative prayer and have done a short parenting course. More recently we have been looking at the lives of people in the Bible. We are very open to new people joining us.

Our Friday Prayer Group meets 10-11:00am. A supportive, caring group of very ordinary people with diverse backgrounds who, as Christians, believe that prayer helps. We average ten in number and meet weekly throughout the year. Our focus is on the needs and concerns of the church and people, both locally and worldwide. As well as a time of quiet prayer or meditation, we often include Bible study, or a current topic of concern to the group. Equally, we have used works of art, music or poetry to aid discussion and exploration, which leads us to pray for understanding, guidance and direction.
